The place
In the heart of the Minervois, at the foothills of the Black Mountain
The Domaine is located in the village on Trausse-Minervois, 15 miles east from Carcassonne and most of our vineyards are in the Mediterranean and dry part of the Minervois.
Our Domaine was built in the mid 19thcentury by Jean-Baptiste's ancestors around a traditional Languedoc wine-farm courtyard, with a winery which has been totally renovated and modernised in 1996 when we moved in.
The vineyards surround the village and beyond in places such as Caunes, Villeneuve and Peyriac, where we own cooler grounds which bring more balance to our wines.
